VNHC’s Richard L. Rosenthal Hospice Residence opened its doors on June 5th,2000, providing compassionate, end-of-life care in a peaceful, homelike environment.   See feature story in Stamford Advocate.

This unique facility was the realization of a vision of hospice care for Connecticut, where patients could live comfortably in the last stage of life, surrounded by loved ones, and attentive nursing care. 

The Rosenthal Hospice Residence has served the community for 10 years, providing care to over 1000 patients and grateful families. It is the only facility of its kind in the state of Connecticut.
